Lipoprotein(a) – Lp(a) Blood Test

Measure your Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] level with a convenient self-collect capillary blood test. Lp(a) is a largely genetically determined cardiovascular risk factor that is not routinely included in standard cholesterol testing. No fasting is required, and results are reported in nmol/L. A result above 75 nmol/L is considered to reflect increased cardiovascular risk based on Framingham data.
